Good. With the arrival of the other two suits, he could start planning. First, he had to make it clear to the other two pilots how they were going to communicate.
"Okay, let's switch the radio frequency here. The radar won't be working, so we'll communicate through a common radio channel." He smiled. "Sorry for the abruptness, but I'm sure that we can introduce ourselves more after the battle or something."
Now for the battle plan.... As he rummaged through his mind for ideas, the familiar sound of a beam flying from the barrel of a rifle sounded. Half-inclined to swear out loud, the Danse realised that the shot was fired by Yusuke Kusanagi of his own team.
Then again, that could work...
"I've got an idea here. Yusuke, fire one or two more shots, then move towards the right flank. Rikku, the left's all yours. Move along the ridges to get as much cover as possible. Don't drop to the ravines or valleys unless you absolutely have to. I'll be moving in the centre for now. Fire at the appropriate moment, especially when they see me." He waited for the responses, a little uncertain whether he had phrased it correctly. What if they didn't understand? What if the enemy had somehow stumbled onto their channel and knew what they were talking about?
No time to hesitate. The other, more decisive part of his mind chided him. "Move out." He stated simply, and moved slowly towards the craggy centre, consisting of a shallow valley and plenty of ridges on either side of it. There were a few slopes, seemingly carved out by an ancient giant on a whim of creativity as well.
Excellent. The typical valley had little cover, but the landforms here just made things a little easier for him.
Of course, it would also meant that the opponent might take note of that as well.

Ryou would've been an idiot if he didn't have the sound from the beam ringing through the alarm in his suit, the ridge off in the distance having been the distance - the bad news was that he knew there couldn't have been a shot from his team since they seemed more or less held back from starting a battle. " Already? Well, that's annoying.. " He whispered as he began to move his suit from the edge and positioned himself on the edge of the large mountain side overlooking the vast view.
" Jase, if possible try to move around and to the end of the valley while you're progressing forward. I'll go support Rael and we'll try to meet you at the end. " He stated, having smirked as he continued. " That is unless we're dead. " He said with a chuckle and then turned on the thrust off his suit and jumped down from one ridge to another as he was making his way to the valley. " Rael, I'll be there within a few clicks. " He mentioned.
(( Just to be fair, I'll place a 2 post limit on myself before I make it there - >>; I don't wanna magically appear within the next post. I'm not sure what the procedure is to this xD ))

"I hope you have at least some kind of plan, just remember that I move like a a GAZuOOT, you better cover me," Rikku smiled to herself as she started the suit moving. The ground was firm enough to take the suit but she would have to be careful, the ground could give way and the rubble could slip out from under the heavy suit. So with the walk locked she headed alone along the middle of a gentle slope that was enough to hid her from the battle and vice versa. Slow she started moving along from the left of the other too, she'd have to wait for them to tell her when to get in on the action.
The other suits had beam weapons, with her cannon she was a little under powered but she could get more off and beams had their disadvantages too. The lack of pressure up here would effect them while the effect on her was that her fire arch was slightly longer. So moving slowly she listened for what was to happen next, hopefully it would work out pretty well for them.

Rael could feel it. Someone, somewhere was watching him. With the Captain on the way for support, Rael felt relatively reassured. Kneeling his Astray down behind a large rock that covered all of it to just below the shoulders, he readied his rifle, placing it on the rock in the style of a movie star sniper, hoping to get some aid in his accuracy.
If there was one thing he wasn't great at, it was long range combat, and yet this was almost definitely going to be solely long range. He knew he would have to improvise.
Kicking the rockface behind him, he cause a few relatively small chuncks to fall down and provide cover for his back, although once again, the Astray was still exposed from just below the torso upwards.
"This is the best I can do" he thought as he readied himself for some improvised trench fight. However, before he could get his barings together completely, he suit shook at it was knocked back. He had been shot at, and it had struck the rock where his torso was before crouching.
"S***! Here we go" he shouted as chunks of rock fell down on to the Astray. He had been lucky enough to avoid a direct hit, but the subsequent damage from the rocks was more than enough to shock him into readiness.

As his unit touched down from its boosted dash Yusuke’s radio crackled to life, "I've got an idea here. Yusuke, fire one or two more shots, then move towards the right flank. Rikku, the left's all yours. Move along the ridges to get as much cover as possible. Don't drop to the ravines or valleys unless you absolutely have to. I'll be moving in the centre for now. Fire at the appropriate moment, especially when they see me." It sounded as if their third teammate had devised a plan similar to his own, except using his unit as the lead instead of the Astray, which was fine with him. Keying his communications to life he responded to the suggestion, “Acknowledged, following your lead.”
He turned his unit 90° and began to run along the ridgeline while keeping his shield angled towards the position of the other Astray. Firing off another couple of rounds to keep the unit pinned down as he moved behind another jagged rock formation and waited for Landis to make his move.

"Okay Ryou gotcha, I'll make my way there just make sure you guys call ifits 3 on 1 I want some action too." Jason said as he took his finger of the communications systems. Earth Alliance suits were different from what he was accustomed to and to some getting used too.
Jason pushed his thrusters as his went forward along side the valley yet keeping to high ground. " I don't know how I am going fight on these mountains/hills if I get shot at" Said as he sighed. Jason had lessened the stress on the thrusters he sheathed his beam saber and pulled out his Anti ship sword slashing a ridge behind him so he couldn't be ambushed from behind without seeing the enemy first.
This also gave Jason a test at his sword movements which he only had one word for "Sluggish" the sword was slow and bulky no way he could hit a fast moving target. Jason took a sip form a cold water bottle he kept with him behind the chair " ahh cockpits won't they ever put some air conditioning in them".

Well at least they no longer had to care about where to move - from the sounds and distant action it would instantly draw everybody there. That's what Ryou figured at most, unless the other group was planning to have one person sit back until they needed backup. Either plan was going to leave Ryou more defensive - all he needed to do was get there and then lure whoever was there to the end where all three of them could strike.
Ryou had then felt the heat begin to cause beads of sweat to form along his cheeks, another annoying factor since his suit was practically jumping down the mountain side without setting off a rock slide. " Nearly there..come on.. " He whispered as he then drew both pistols and made sure that the ammo was ready for use.

No first blood, unfortunately... The Danse thought back to how he had been slow to react. It was an action that somewhat gave away Yusuke's position, but the shock could give them a slight psychological edge. He was also well aware that they had only a short amount of time to make use of it, since he had no idea how much experience the opponent truly had when handling sudden attacks.
Something sounded to his diagonal right side and he stopped in his tracks, waiting and listening. There was no mistake; although it was small, the noise confirmed his suspicions of the destruction of a part of the rocky landscape he was currently at. It was a wild guess, but the Danse believed it to be one of the suits who did not need to expend any beam weaponry to clear some obstacles.
Namely, the same kind of suit that he was currently in control of.
Try as he might, the Danse could imagine the both of them being the igniting spark for a gunfight in the valleys. Whatever he did, it was possible that he could be locked in close combat with his opponent and both of them become potential targets for target practice.
easing his Sword Dagger against a rock face, the Danse kept a close eye through a gap in the direction of where he had heard the sound. "Yusuke, Rikku, it is possible that I have the opposite number of my unit in the northeastern direction. Take note of any possible movement from the side, but do not fire until I engage him Consequently, watch out for the mountainsides...They might be coming around to flank us."
With that, he silently waited for the enemy to make his appearance.

Rikku kept moving slowly her profile not appearing over the ridge, she could leap up into action but first it was best to wait. Right now there wasn't a thing between the two sides other than who had the best tactics, who could set up the best. She could lay a large amount of damage if she could catch her enemy, but she was so slow she would need someone else to hold that targets attention.
She was happy to follow orders for now, otherwise she would be the sorry soul that would be singled out. She had to play the game of staying away, out of combat for as long as possible. If she was caught up in the middle of it she would be a goner. Her eyes flicked around her screens nothing yet, but it had to be soon she could feel that much at least. When someone turned up she had to be fast and accurate, no messing around. This time its serious, no play fighting she hadn't fought against this many opponents at once before. Nor had she had this many allies, that was something she would have to be careful about.
The order to attack would come soon and then, then it was all up in the air to see just what would happen next.
