29.12.09 Does your character carry or possess a weapon of any type?

I'm setting a writing and thinking task based off of this.

Now everyday I will be placing up a question for you to think about and let all of us learn a little something more about your character or characters.

Today the questions are,

Does your character carry or possess a weapon of any type?

Roxanna has her personal firearm but it isn't hers per say and she never carries it out of uniform or on base unless she is going to practice. She doesn't have any weapons of her own.

Fen doesn't, she has people around to do that for her.

You could open a catalogue of weapons and somewhere in the world Sonja has one. She couldn't even start to list them but she tends to always carry a pistol. Though it may vary from place to place her favourite is a black Beretta 92 she has at her home in Orb and it doesn't move anywhere other than there.

Well, Jack has a rapier sharp wit.

Then there are his well practiced and used hands and feet as his primary arsenal. But besides that Conrad pretty much always carries a 15 shot 9mm pistol in a shoulder holster. It's a fairly reliable tool with a weighted butt for melee and a chambering mechanism designed for use in a vacuum or underwater. Also he often carries a combat knife tied in a calf sheath.

Allen carries a few "weapons" on him, though only two of them function as conventional weapons. He has his straight razor, normally kept in a boot sheath. Then he has his .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol which he keeps in a conventional hip holster. Lastly he has his .762 assault rifle for when things get really ugly.

As well, he is well versed in unarmed combat. That about sums up his personal arsenal. I might be changing it around over time, though that is his loadout for now.

Demetrius tends to carry a standard complement of a sub-machine gun and semi-auto handgun while on duty and not piloting. Off duty, he mainly 'arms' himself with some martial knowledge and a compact radio.

ChengHu always carries two 9mm handguns plus four extra magazines with him. He also has a small switchknife strapped around his ankle.

Alicia goes to many places while carrying around her beloved jian and is ready to use it if necessary. Though it may serve as both a symbolic and ceremonial item, she always keeps it sharp. She also carries a long knife which she uses in a reverse grip. And depending on the situation, she may carry a machine-pistol (most likely something like the Glock 18) and possibly a grenade or two.

Speaking of personal firearms, Sirius got about five personal firearms: two pistols, an assault rifle, an SMG and a pump-action shotgun.

Formally Sirius always carry his favorite pistol, a customized modern Colt .45 which is holstered at the back of his waist. And his service pistol an M9 at his left shoulder holster.

His assault rifle HK G36 Compact attached with red dot scope, SMG MP5 attached with flashlight and his Remington 870 shotgun is in his locker at FREE headquarters.

Adam has a Katana, he also has a high powered sniper rifle. He trains himself to use a Katana because it provides him with a good workout.

Jessica Fairburne serves her role in FREE Forces as both Designated Marksman and Sniper. [There are big differences between these two professions]

When in her role as Designated Marksman, semi-automatic M21 rifle attached with 10x40 scope or perhaps short-sight scope or without any attachments or perhaps an HK PSG-1 .

In her role as a sniper either solo or in a sniper team, Jessica's choice are bolt-action type which is slower-firing but more accurate. An M40 or Accuracy International AW sniper rifle is her choice.

Not only as marksman, Jessica also skilled in other firearms especially assault rifle, sub-machine guns and pistols. Her other weapons is:

- M4A1 Carbine with front grip
- HK P90
- Beretta 92

Lyn doesn't usually carry any weapons, but she does have quite a few at home. Her collection includes a few personal firearms from her military career, a set of high grade sword reproductions, and an old fashioned wooden bow. Of these, during her spare time, she takes the bow out for practice the most.

Gale's wakizashi and standard issue OMNI pistol are always at her side. She doesn't really use any other weapons.

Sierra detests guns, though she's been trained by the AC police force to use them. Her fists are the only weapons that she truly relies upon. She doesn't want to take the risk of harming innocent bystanders because of an errant shot.

Ari doesn't own any weapons.

Armed with the standard issue pistol bestowed upon him by ZAFT, Kadeem keeps this beautiful piece holstered just behind his left hip. Kadeem is also the proud owner of a bolt-action sniper rifle that is a descendant of the Accuracy International AW L96. (I figured in the era it'd be a totally different rifle, thus the 'descendant'.) Neither of the weapons have seen use in real combat, but Greahart always finds time to get in some target practice and he always keeps the sniper rifle Zeroed in.
