Character Approval Guide

This is the updated character approval system.

There are two types of character profiles: standard and custom.
This applies regardless of whether the character is a PC or NPC.

A standard character should be posted in Character Creation.
A custom character should be posted in Character Approval.

Standard character
A standard character is one that fulfils the standards listed below.
A standard character does not require approval before the character can be used.
A standard character will still need to be approved.

Custom character
A custom character is one that does not fulfil the standards.
A custom character will need to be approved before the character can be used.

Standards

• Is not a relative of any characters that hold a commanding rank.
• Does not hold a commanding rank.
• Does not belong to any existing families. This rule is exempted if the character has already been accepted in to the family. The acceptance into the family will need to be placed in the Families and Relationships forum.
• Does not have a complicated history. For example, a character who changed citizenships several times or involved in major events in the AD timeline.
• Does not have any special abilities
• Is not in a faction that is closed. Closed factions usually have enough characters and will only take in characters on a case-by-case basis.
