Sonja is possibly one of the most honest and straightforward person you could meet, if she has a problem you’ll know about it. She doesn’t like liars, she perfectly capable of bending the truth so when the situation dictates but more often than not there is a better way. The end of a gun is preferable to trying to trick someone, tactics like that are for the weak.

People tend to get in the way of things, that’s not to say that she doesn’t have friends but she values, work, money and a host of other things above them. She has had a number of true close friends over the years but most have met rather unpleasant ends in one way or another.

More than anything she strives for self-survival, after all what does anything else matter. She isn’t afraid of death though, she would much rather go out in a blaze of glory that in a bed years from now. She is all action, crude words and bad habits, she’s the last person you want to run into in a dark alley.

If you needed as reason why she fights then it would have to be to prevent her past happening to other people. The huge super nation groups are the cause of that, one day she'll have the power to make a true difference but until then she'll fight.

There is a faint raised white line along her neck from a knife slash and two through and through gunshot scars on her lower left abdomen.

Build: She is quite a tall, imposing and with a clearly strong and well built frame. She is quite a sexy woman with a curvy shape, with a pretty face though her eyes are quite small.
Clothing: Relative to the conditions she likes simple things such as jeans and a tank top and a Tee. You’ll struggle to see her in a formal outfit or even a dress at most points. She is never without a firearm of some kind.

Personal History:


Sonja has lived her life from one battlefield to another, she was twelve when the first bloody valentine war started. She was already on the battlefield as a guerilla fighter operating in southern eastern Europe. She didn’t know what she was fighting for back then and even now she doesn’t care. She had been fighting all her life so far and kept going. Sonja was born to a young prostitute in Croatia, homeless and a burden she suffered a large amount of neglect as a child. She had to steal for as long as she knew, her mother’s drug addiction meant it was a miracle that Sonja survived at all.

But she did by the skin of her teeth the young girl leant the hard way how to survive and through a cycle of unluckiness ended up running into her father. There was one person she hated more than her mother and it was that man, she stabbed him. Right there in the street, a man she had only seen a few times in her life and the seven year old stabbed him in the Gonadal artery. She ran leaving the small blade in the man’s gonads and he bled to death right there. This man beat her, beat her stupid mother but the reason she hated him most was for bring her into this world.

From then on she drifted from place to place and discovered the most marketable skill a person could have is killing other people. Through random gang violence and training under various disreputable people it was a skill she seemed to have a talent for. By the time she was fifteen she enjoyed killing, it was something she wanted to do rather than just for money. Still she wasn’t a mindless psychopath, she killed people that she had a reason to kill, though it many cases it was strenuous at best. After being a member of raiding parties against the Earth Alliance she shifted back to a gun woman and assassin between the wars. It was during this time that she left Eastern Europe into the deserts of Africa. Here fighting was still going on and services those she developed were needed and well paid.

She shifted once more with the second war, after Break the World she was fighting in the USSA. She was becoming renowned in underground circles. She was perfecting the art if battle and killing. After the end of that war she had proven capable of fighting in a mobile suit. In the closing weeks she lead a raid a base that left the guerrillas with a number of suits. She had managed to get a Strike Dagger as her personal unit, though at first she wasn't particularly good but the group managed to procure some simulators through the black market. These in hand towards the final week of the war they fought running battles with local forces. That was until the local forces were reinforced and the guerrillas crushed, her suit immobilised Sonja had little choice but to retreat leaving her ruined suit behind.

She had become known as the woman that would see a person over the river Styx, a killer that left a trail behind her. After the war she drifted once more, trying her hand at a gunwoman once more but she felt she was wasted. From time to time she would end up on the battlefield once more, here she was comfortable and useful, the real world had no need of her. She travelled for a while ending up a citizen of Orb of all places. She hated that country, mostly as it was one she wished she grew up in, rather as who she was now she couldn’t live there. She would travel from place to place from the small flat there.

Lending her gun and her skills to the nearest combat she felt worth her time and sneaking around the border security. That time may be at an end as now a man who had a job for her one that might move her into a more stable career had contacted her.

Eh? Is this character related to your planned 'Fair Verona?' You really surprised me since she's so different from the short piece of that other character in that thread.

So, this is a crossover thing? Wait, does that me if we join your 'Fair Verona' we'll need to submit a profile here?

Anyways, character's interesting. On the surface, I'd say she reminds me of Revy from 'Black Lagoon' (which I still need to see). The way she killed her father, nasty, but certainly leaves an impression of her character. Her nickname's cool; and if she's that renowned, she's certainly an enemy of Lyn, who despises mercs.

By the way, you didn't list her occupation, though it's pretty obvious from the rest of the profile.

Through character evolution this character started off as Aysu but I wasn't sure about using her here. Then I having used her though changed completely for the R&J RP I created another character with the original background and such but I love the surname so that stayed.

That's a pretty big evolution. She grew taller, older, and more experienced...Oh, I just noticed, you refer to her as Aysu a few times in the first paragraph, last two sentences.

Actually Aysu started out like this then regressed to the on in the RJ RP, this is the original Aysu more or less.
